Directions

Clay Concepts Pottery Studio is located in The Shirt Factory on the corner of Lawrence and Cooper Streets in Glens Falls, New York. The building once housed the McMullen dress factory, and is now home to a variety of artists studios, galleries, shops, and other services. Clay Concepts Pottery Studio is on the third floor, best accessed from the 71 Lawrence Street entrance. The building does have a service elevator. Parking is available on both sides of the building.

From the South

Take I-87, the Northway, to Exit 17N, Route 9 North. Travel north on Route 9 to Glens Falls, about 5 miles. After you cross the bridge stay in the right lane. At the top of the hill (past the Civic Center and at the Burger King) take the second right out of the traffic circle onto Ridge Road (Route 9L). Go to the next light and turn right onto Lawrence Street. Continue about 4-5 blocks on Lawrence St. The Shirt Factory is the 3 story brick building on your right.

From the North

Take the Northway, to exit 19. Take Route 254 (Quaker Road) east toward Glens Falls. Travel approx. 2 miles to Ridge Road, there is a set of lights and the Haufbrau House restaurant. Turn right onto Ridge Road and go about 1 mile to Dix Avenue. Turn left onto Dix Avenue. Take the third (3rd) right at the Price Chopper Supermarket onto Cooper Street. The next intersection is Lawrence and Cooper Streets.

From the Hyde Museum

From the museum parking lot, turn left onto Warren Street. Take the first right onto Prospect Street. Go 2 blocks and turn left onto Lawrence Street. Go 2 blocks to the corner of Lawrence and Cooper Streets.

From the Queensbury Hotel and Downtown Glens Falls

From the downtown area, follow Ridge Road north. One block north of the Queensbury Hotel, turn right onto Lawrence Street. Continue 4 blocks to the intersection of Lawrence and Cooper Streets.

Parking

Parking lots are adjacent to the building on either street.
Clay Concepts Studio is easier to access from the Lawrence Street entrance. We are located on the third floor, right around the corner after leaving the stair case.
Handicapped visitors should use the ramp off of the Lawrence Street parking lot.There is a freight elevator just inside to the left. If you need assistance please call.
