$10 PER HOUR PLUS COST OF CLAY ($1 per pound)

You will need basic knowledge of the ceramic process. Use of tools and/or equipment is required to work independently in the studio. Open studio time allows for practicing, and gaining throwing and handbuilding skills. You will work independently on individual pieces and projects outside of class.

Open Studio time is non-instructional. The instructor, or an assistant, will be present at all times to answer questions.

The fee of $10 an hour includes use of studio equipment (wheels, slab roller, extruder), tools and glazes. Clay is $1 per pound and includes firing of work.

Saturdays 1 - 4 pm. MAY 8, 15, and 29th

Thursdays 9:30 am. - 12:30 pm. MAY 13, 20, and 27th

Limited to 4 throwers and 3 handbuilders. Email or call ahead of time to reserve a wheel, or take a chance and call Saturday morning or just drop in.
