$10 PER HOUR PLUS COST OF CLAY AND GLAZE FIRING.

Open studio time is non-instuctional. Basic knowledge of the ceramic process and use of tools and/or equipment is required to work independently in the studio. Practice throwing and hand building skills, and work independently on individual pieces and projects outside of class - for ages 14 and up. The instructor, or an assistant, will be present at all times to answer questions.

The fee of $10 an hour includes use of studio equipment (wheels, slab roller, extruder), tools and glazes.

Clay is $1 per pound. Pieces are weighed for firing ** - $1 a pound for bisque firing, $2 a pound for glaze firing.

** Firing fee is waived for students currently enrolled in a class.

Limited to 5 throwers and 3 handbuilders. It is recommended that you reserve OPEN STUDIO TIME in advance.
