WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
Class size is limitd to 5 participants. Create and finish projects in a day, return in 2 weeks to glaze. Fee includes all materials, firing, and 2 hours studio time to glaze. Students need to bring their own apron, towel, and bag to carry them.
"ORIGAMI" BOWLS
SUNDAY APRIL 16th, 11am - 3:30pm

"Origami", the Japanese art of paper folding, is now a term for all folding practices. Transform a flat square slab of clay into a finished bowl through "folding" and sculpting techniques. Decorate with texture and / or stamps. A selection of templates will be available for you to explore different shapes.
This is a fun and creative way to create 4-5 unique "folded" bowl forms. Return in about two weeks to glaze.
UNDERGLAZE TRANSFERS & PLATES(4)
SATURDAY MAY 6th, 10am - 2:30pm
$125 (ages 13+)
In this work shop you will be instructed to make up to 4 clay slab forms - plates, trays, and or trivets - and learn to use and apply underglaze transfers to create beautiful images on your forms.
This is a fun and creative way to enhance the surface of ceramic forms! A selection of underglaze transfers will be availabl. I will provide a list of suppliers so you can purchase your own. Return in 2 weeks to glaze, TBD.
MUFFIN PAN

Make a 6 cup clay muffin pan using clay slabs and templates. Decorate with texture and / or stamps. Muffin pan will be food, oven, and dishwasher safe.There is nothing like using your own pottery to bake in! Muffins will be moist and pop right out of the pan. Return to glaze your pan in approximately 2 weeks - date and time to be determined.
