clay basket in process

Create beautiful clay baskets using extruded clay coils (1-3 depending on size). Using molds to shape your basket, you will learn to weave the clay over the mold, attach a rim and feet, and add decorative embellishments to create your own unique woven clay basket. Your baskets will make a beautiful Autumn or Winter centerpiece, and can be used to hold fruit, bread, or garden vegetables.Due to their delicate nature, the baskets will dry slowly before being bisque fired. Return to glaze your baskets in approximately 2 weeks - date and time to be determined.
